What’s a training camp?

Simply put, a training camp is an agreement between individuals to mutually invest time, attention and effort to change behavior in order to increase skills and improve performance I do not expect you to miss work or abandon the kids however without a commitment there’s no agreement and hence no training camp.

My goal is to empower, not to create dependence, meaning my goal is often the opposite of others who want to build up longtime clientele. I want to provide new skills and assist you in adopting them into your life as efficiently as possible!

Customized Training Camps are available for individuals, couples, small groups of friends and family as well as companies big or small. They are highly customized to the desired outcome and current individual circumstances meaning no two are alike.

For many, being a happier, healthier human will include some version of “getting in better shape” or “improving fitness” and that’s okay. I have spent almost thirty years attaining and testing methods and techniques that will indeed “improve fitness” but I should tell you, I am not a fan of exercise. In fact, I often insist that I don’t exercise, ever, really. I train. What’s the difference? The intent and outcome.

Exercising generally isn’t balanced and has an undefined or vague purpose, like “stay in shape”. What is “in shape”? Not fat? Not sick? Also, exercising often doesn’t hone both body and mind by building focus to strengthen attention, increase awareness, improve coordination and balance or improve memory.

Optimal body composition is just a common staring point of a training camp but I train for all the aspects of life, including a long life so longevity is an important part in the program. We train to be able to create and maintain enough energy and strength to be our best. Be it the power to maintain a positive attitude at the office or in relationships or having the energy to play with the kids and consistently be the parent you want to be.
